Truly in the center of downtown with easy access to all the main areas, definitely walkable. Best part, one of the biggest hotel gyms in the city. I always stay here when in town, really clean rooms, great service, and large breakfast area.

My favorite hotel when going to the convention center. It’s not attached but it’s so close. It has breakfast options that are fast. The main floor is a great place to lounge and catch up with colleagues. The hotel rooms are updated and quiet. And it had my favorite feature: the thermostat in the hotel rooms can be set with the Fan On continuously to low, medium, or high. Perfect for anyone who needs white noise to sleep.

The room was amazing and the staff super friendly and helpful. Perfect stay if seeing an event at the Capitol One Arena only a 7min walk to the event. Couldn't be more happier about our stay. It was quiet on the 15th floor and the bed was perfect. Valley parking is roughly $86 or park yourself at half the cost but the parking is separate from the hotel.

As a Marriott Ambassador, I am very picky on my hotel stays. Having stayed at 20+ DC area Marriotts, my new recent stay at this Westin was top notch. The bar was bright and lively, food amazing, staff friendly and comfortable beds. Bonus is the Hertz in the hotel and cheap (if that's possible in DC) open parking lot across the street. I will be back!! Melissa

I stayed at the Westin DC Downtown for one night while in the city for a concert, and my experience was outstanding from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, clean, and thoughtfully updated, with the added bonus of a Starbucks conveniently located in the lobby. The true highlight of my stay was the check-in experience. Tawanna delivered top-tier service. As a Marriott Elite member, I have certain expectations, and she exceeded every single one of them. She acknowledged and thanked me for my Elite status, ensured all of my requests were met, and even took the extra step of updating my account name so I would be addressed respectfully and correctly going forward. That level of attention, professionalism, and care is rare and deeply appreciated. Although I wasn’t able to take advantage of the hotel amenities due to my tight schedule, everything I did experience, from the service to the atmosphere, left a great impression. The hotel’s location was also a big plus. It's close to several metro lines and surrounded by great restaurants, making it easy to get around and enjoy the city. Valet service was efficient and smooth, rounding out an already excellent stay. Overall, I was incredibly pleased with my experience and I’m already looking forward to staying here again the next time I’m in DC. Highly recommend!

We had an exceptional stay at The Westin Downtown DC. The hotel is immaculate, beautifully maintained, and delivers a truly elevated experience from start to finish. Every detail reflects quality, comfort, and professionalism. During our stay, we had a small matter that needed to be addressed, and Brett Haduch, the manager, went above and beyond to resolve it. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel like true five-star guests. The way he handled the situation exemplifies outstanding leadership and customer service. The entire staff was incredible in every way—courteous, attentive, and consistently welcoming. I highly recommend The Westin Downtown DC and would absolutely stay here again. An outstanding hotel with an exceptional team.

Solo, business traveler during recent stay. Overall, this wasn’t a bad stay, but it also wasn’t as exceptional as I expected it would be. The good: The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was very clean, and every staff member was helpful and kind. The food was also delicious. The property had reassuring safety policies and safeguards in place. The so-so: While modern in overall style, the rooms are very beige and neutral. If your room faces the center, your view with be of walls and windows. There is a large amount of noise creep from neighboring rooms and the hallway - heavy room doors are loud enough to disturb sleep. The closest Metro station is Chinatown Gallery, which is a few blocks away. It’s close enough for getting around town during your stay, but more of a pain if you want to ride with luggage to or from National.
